Join us and celebrate the 47th EEI Day on Friday, July 12, 2024. No registration necessary. The event will be held in the lecture halls H15/H16 (Cauerstr. 7/9, 91058 Erlangen) and outside of the department building.
It starts at 8:30 a.m. with reports on the past academic year and an honoring ceremony for outstanding students. There will be a science slam and an invited talk by Dr. Frederik Giessing, Managing Director of 450connect, who will give a guest lecture on “450MHz – the frequency for the energy transition”. The first part of the EEI day closes with the inaugural lectures of the newly appointed professors: Prof. Koelewijn, Prof. Lehner, Prof. Zeis, Prof. Milosiu and Prof. Schlecht.
Please note that most presentations and talks will be in German.
In the afternoon, starting at 1:00 p.m. everyone will come together for our summer party with food and drinks. Vegan food and non-alcoholic beverages are available.
New this year: there will be musical entertainment. We are looking forward to GIMME5! With AudioLabs Professor Jürgen Herre on the guitar! 😊
